No kidding, most here have probably forgotten that you said you were done if SMU hired Larry Brown. Thankfully you did not follow through on that!

Lol, I'm famous for abysmal emotional posting around butchered coaching searches. The brown diatribe was nothing compared to my vent around hiring Turgeon at Maryland after missing on Sean miller. I'm pretty sure I thought the world was ending

I agree with StandUp. Also, I'm not an alter ego either.

This place is bad for your health, marriage and generally a place of misery. You are welcome but I strongly suggest you reconsider...

What does PFs do to reach out to students? Real question. Do we advertise? Do the students on here branch the word out?

Well, we only have 4 undergrads on here, so I would say PF does nothing to reach out. I didn't even know about PF until the latter part of my senior year. I've always thought they should do a thing on the blvd or something and I brought it up once too. But, I guess it's there call. I think being a part of this forum automatically makes you a bigger fan just by talking about SMU and such

I don't see Stand Up being near as bad as some of the football newcomers we all know and dread. Just too much info-too fast and then some personal information that nobody wants to read. English teacher once told us to write term paper. On Day 2 he told us the write the same paper using 50% less words. On Day 3, 50% less words again. Stand Up can make the exact same points- better- using this strategy
Abraham Lincoln: I could write shorter sermons but when I get started I'm too lazy to stop.

Love me some Sean Miller, great guy. Got to know him real well over my time in AAU and going into college. Was a sad day when he left Xavier, that school has gone south. If you're a Maryland fan, you gotta be loving Dez. That kid can flat out ball, one of the quickest first steps I ever played against.

Mack has Xavier doing pretty well. Well enough to get invited to the Big East.

It's not the same talent. I agree he's done well but there's been a drop from the Matta/Miller years. Lot of Xavier alum that have given up their season tickets after he left. And I think the A10 was about as strong as the new Big East if they had stayed fwiw. The A10 is a damn good league or was..
