Army-Navy Game

Postby SMUPhil » Sat Dec 14, 2013 4:41 pm

Future conference mate Navy up 17-0, 1:30 left in 2nd quarter.

Vern Lundquist and his partner are terrible. They keep mixing up Army and Navy, also saying "the Academy" to refer to one of the teams but you can't tell which one because THEY'RE BOTH ACADEMIES.

And to keep it SMU related, we are a combined 0-5 against these two schools since June's arrival, yikes.

America's Game. I love these schools and their cadets and midshipmen. The best of all us. Perhaps Army will join the American in the future, along with BYU? (Air Force is staying put.)

12th straight Navy win. Army should totally stop playing Navy. I mean its embarrassing to watch your team get embarrassed every year by your rival. Schedule down-play the Merchant Marine's the Citadel and Coast Guard and then when you win 10 games and huge crowds from your 10-2 record against nobody then reschedule Navy

I bet if Army had an IPF, they would be winning these games. The school hasn't shown a commitment to winning like Navy has.
