So are the pics deceiving or is it hanging that low?

its lower then you would expect but in my view would in no way effect play. if for some reason someone disagrees (like Brown) it can be lifted.

I really like the LEDs above each entrance...makes it feel like a professional venue. Is that the collegiate standard these days?

It is definitely at a high angle. Kind of feels like you are a good ways away at that point imo.
Far away sounds funny, it's a great viewing angle
You might think it is but I don't.

It's currently low. Not an optical illusion. And it would affect play IMO.

It seemed low to me. I was picturing a full court pass and could see it scraping the bottom. Looks like if it were raised even 4-6 feet it would be good.

It's low but I am sure they will raise it on those pulley's for the game.

Abu and I found a couple: Can't believe they would even try to sell this one, it's behind an air duct:

Here is the view from my seats. You'll notice I'm *above* the jumbotron. Sure looks to me like it'd affect gameplay at its current height.

We should give those seats to June Jones as part of his extension.

I know the videos have been a great insight into the construction, but you really have to see this to believe it. It is an absolutely beautiful facility that will be the crown jewel of college basketball arenas in the state for years to come. I was in favor of bulldozing Moody and starting from scratch, but you can really tell that it had great bones. Can't say enough positive things about this place. With the kind of team we have combined with the vastly improved schedule there is no reason this place shouldn't be averaging 5K a night. When you combine that with next year's opening of the new dorms, arrival of Emmanuel Mudiay, etc. the atmosphere at Moody should be incredible.
Excellent in every possible way.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Do you feel this is different from before? I didn't think they changed the seating angle
