I got into the champions club, I'll post a pic. It's nice, though the ceiling is low, has a rather hotel function room feel. Very nice hotel though! ImageImage

The obstructed view seats are hilarious. What's a stadium without obstructed view seats? Even the billion dollar Yankee Stadium has those. The Loge seats are outstanding and the perfect distance from the floor. The stadium has a more intimate feel. Pictures don't do any justice...walking under the giant pony into the opened up end and getting a view of the whole place was amazing. The LED lights are my favorite parts. 100 tix remain for UCONN. That place is going to be ROCKING

The loge seats are temporary seats. Permanent ones haven't arrived yet. The lower bowl seats are jammed in there. We better have kick [deleted] games where everyone is on their feet or else my wife and I will have blisters on our knees..............

The building is awesome - it feels like big time basketball. Can't wait......

Can someone tweet some of those obstructed view seats to Hart and ask what gives? Or email them or something?

They're hilarious, but with a $50 million renovation you'd think they would think about these things....

I have a very bad feeling that could actually be my seat. If so, I will not be real happy with them swapping me.

Loge seat on down are intimate for sure. The further up up go the more the people look like ants imo.

If you want ants try going to a mavericks game at the AA and sitting up high.

Been there before and that is what it kind of feels like on row 11 imo.

Ok, so I panicked and called. I have been assured my seats are not the obstructed view seats. They will be high but I should be able to at least make out movement below.

It is not that big of a deal.

When they built MetLife Stadium (Cost=$1.6B), they ended up with a bunch of obstructed view seats in the Mezzanine B section. Since I am a NJ Jets STH, I was very interested in the issue. As I understand it, they build arenas/stadiums to fit as many seats as possible w/in a given space. Once construction is finished, they do a seat survey and decide what seats are actually obstructed or not. If there are a few obstructed seats, they don't get that upset and often leave them in place.

Question: If #2 Uconn ever comes to Moody to play #1 SMU for the CAA regular season championship, would you be willing to sit in the obstructed view seats if that was the best option? I would.

I stopped going to Stars games after they moved to the AAC. From the UD, I cannot see the puck.

I believe seats were removed from the old arena. I don't think the steepness of the actual rows of seats were modified. Viewing should actually be improved in the new arena compared to the old one because I believe, if I am not mistaken, rows were actually removed from the top and other places of Moody. Hence seats up top will be better in the new arena. Better site lines. Enjoy!

Fwiw, 99% of the time, the video display is movable at arenas. I would definitely assume that is pulled up during basketball games. I'm sure they thought of the display scoreboard when it was being renovated lol. Nonetheless, stadium looks beautiful. Can't believe they left major obstructed view seats like that however. Seems odd, probably won't sell them I would think and more for aesthetics
