In my life I have been to just about every inch of Moody. It definitely had some obstructed views with those support structures

Question: If #2 Uconn ever comes to Moody to play #1 SMU for the CAA regular season championship, would you be willing to sit in the obstructed view seats if that was the best option? I would.

I would buy the ticket and stand somewhere else where I could see. The point is probably just to get as many people in there as possible because they figure people will do that anyway

Viewing should actually be improved in the new arena compared to the old one because I believe, if I am not mistaken, rows were actually removed from the top and other places of Moody. Hence seats up top will be better in the new arena. Better site lines. Enjoy!

I believe they removed the upper rows to put in the luxury suites. One thing for sure is that place is luxurious.

Everyone else did a good job posting pics.
Again, the facility is top notch.
Was cool seeing everyone find their seats this morning and seeing them sit down and look around.
Should be nice and rowdy during games if people get into it.
The amenities are nice, too.
SMU Athletics doesn't get a lot of things right, but they got this renovation dead on. Well done.

Get boozed up before and during the game to get extra rowdy. I'm taking 80% Maryland College Park (Comcast Center) vs. JJ Redick rowdy.

I would've liked to see more club seats put in. Check out Toledo Rockets renovation of Savage Hall when you're bored. They have a similar set-up but more clubs on the one sideline. Moody looks phenomenal though, love the outside of the building

Another plus is it looks like they left lots of hard surfaces - should be a very loud arena when it gets going. Obstructed view seats are fine - if you really don't want one probably best to buy season tickets.

Will be interesting to see how Dallas embraces this building and program. When this town flat out cant get a ticket to something, that's when it gets interesting. Hope they are ready to start checking student ID's for the student section - because there might be a really big re-sale market for those tickets.

And this is just what was done above ground.

I think the renovations below moody were fairly extensive

One other minor complaint they did not keep the really old pedestal urinals in the bathrooms I've never seen any like those anywhere else
