This ^. It is misleading and I mentioned it to one of the reps. He indicated several people had already made comments about the issue. Hopefully that can be fixed. Otherwise, the place looks great. Can't wait for 1/4/14.

Good.

It looked Great. The SMU and the mustang really stand out and the Mustang lettering on the baselines look great surrounded by blue. The classic clean look makes all the SMU branding stuff pop at you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would say the best court in the 5 state area but I am a homer.

Those are for fans. They go for $750 and you have to buy 4 - kind of a modified box seat. Not sure what they call them. I was talking to the staff and they still have a few of those seats left. They look like the best seats in the house to me. Very cool. I'm up bear the top and am happy with my view. The whole place is awesome. Honesty, I can not even come up with a complaint even if I was looking to complain. Absolutely top notch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is the Loge. They also require a $5,000 donation. The touchscreen tablets are supposedly for ordering drinks and food from servers as well as accessing replays, etc., but it's unclear if that will be operational this year or next.
The New Moody website said they were going to provide privacy. I guess I was imagining a low wall or something on either end of the 4 seats. This just looks like a walkway with some seats pulled up to a counter to me. How are these different than wheelchair seats on the other side besides the touch screen? I guess I will have to check it out on 1/4/14.

Wheelchair seats don't have the table (or wait staff). But other than that, same level. Also, the chairs for the Loge seating haven't arrived yet; today's were temporary (there were little pictures showing what the actual chairs will be). I'm guessing there will be an usher at either end preventing folks from using this as a walkway. There's no reason to walk there unless you are going to a Loge. So semi-private wold probably apply.
Also, the one pictured there seats 6. There are 4 that seat this number, the rest seat 4. but, yeah, the wheelchair folk and their guests will have some of the best seats in the house.

Please do not throw batteries or water bottles like they do in College Park, or just chant F%CK DOOK the entire time. Be loud, be rowdy, be clever, but you don't have to be [deleted] to have an intimidating environment.
Yes, you do. Being clever and having cheer sheets is for freakin nerds. You want urine running down the opponents leg. No mercy, and yes I'd peg mrs boozer w/an aquafina bottle again.

Wish I could comment on the country club atmosphere intelligently but I have no experience other than I know good peoples that were SMU grads. That said, I'd want the crowd in the opponents head at all costs. That's how you get home court. Not by cheering.

If the ushers treat it like 104 at Ford you will have Huskies sitting there with you. And the mothers of the mini muffins.

please lord, no mini mustangs at these games. They should feel much closer to mavs than to high school - but can come up with our own vibe.

We were brutal to Chris Herren (Fresno) and Arky when they were #1 back in my day. Good times. We lost both games. Hung with Arky for awhile and Herren went off. Not so good times with results.

Got an email from Rick Hart today saying that the scoreboard would be at regulation height for the basketball games.
