Without looking at the minutes, I still get the feeling that most of the team did not get enough minutes let alone the end of bench guys.

I wonder how they are going to react to a full house at Moody? It will be like an away game. A lot of these kids have not played a game in Moody and certainly not with a crowd like they will hear. Might take a while for them to adjust.

It took a while to knock off the rust and it wasn't always pretty but we took care of business.

Hope the team is ready for Friday!

Under Doh this would have been a nail biter than we may or may not have won.

I respect the heck out of you but come on - panic button time? The team is starting to gel. Have faith in the godfather. Conference is going to be a fun ride. :D 8)

Decent win, team played well in spurts. Thought Manuel was a standout, and Kennedy is coming into his own. Minutes are still an issue. Worried about Keith, but his perimeter d is as bad as his shooting is good. Sterling is certainly capable.

Just got back from the game. . . Felt like the 2nd half was 2 hours long with the whistles being blown for a foul each trip down the court. . . SMU looked like a team that had 2 weeks off, but got better as the game went on.

HEH! Shook hands with June Jones who was at the 1st half of the game. Asked him how he was doing. And his reply was: "I'm good. 'How are you doing brother!"

He should be doing pretty good since the word is that he just agreed to a contract extension. More money, more money, money.

Poor Crandall. He gets in for about 55 seconds, and ends the game by driving the basket and irking Larry. We may never see him again on the court.

Walking through the tunnel, one of the guys said to Head something like, I have a lot more respect for you now. Meaning: you're about to go face to face with coach Brown.
