As always, never count the Horns out

Postby LA_Mustang » Wed Aug 24, 2005 3:44 pm

From Orangebloods.com........

It looks like Illinois is out and Texas is back on the list of Darrell Arthur.

"Texas is on and Illinois is off the list," Hartwell said.

With that said, there are still six schools vying for five official visits. The list of six is now Kansas, Baylor. SMU,Texas, UNC and Indiana. Hartwell said lining up official visits is next on the list.

"We hope to have the official visits ironed out by the end of the week or at least by Monday." Hartwell said.

What is the reasoning for Texas being back on the list and Illinois being out?

"Well, we want all of the in-state schools to have a chance with Darrell. Texas should have been on the list from day one, but there were more people than in the decision making process than myself and Darrell's mother." Hartwell said.

Hartwell also said Darrell will start doing interviews with the media in the next couple of weeks,

Even though no official visit dates have been set for sure, it looks like Kansas will get their chance the weekend of midnight madness and UNC is probably going to be September 30th through October 1st.
