We [deleted] that students aren't there. They show up, now we [deleted] that we don't like what they are wearing.
What's next, they're not drunk off the right beer? Make filling up the gym a regular event, then we can be more selective about who we let in. Until then, just shut the helll up and be happy that we are starting to get a regular crowd again that we can be proud of. I sure don't cheer any louder when I'm wearing red and blue.
I don't think anyone is saying don't let people but just wanting everyone to be on the same page that are on the floor where the national tv audience sees. Looks like everything is straightened out.
until this year, the tv audience would tune in to see a uniformly colored background, but it was only because it was all open seat backs. we are still new to this "winning" thing, let's focus on the winning part before we worry about how the crown looks like while we do it. we have to keep the student support, and nurture it at this point. not alienate or belittle it.

BTW - if some guy on the internet was complaining about how we dressed at a BB game, I am pretty sure that my fraternity brothers and I would have done it again out of spite.

And, that would be so mature of you wouldn't it. You know, that is exactly the type of reaction that I expected (afraid of). I am hoping that those with common sense would will actually prevail. I guess we will see.

Again, I had a friendly conversation with an SAE and thanked him for the support and simply asked if they were going to wear the the same thing to future games in a non confrontational way. He said no because he said that it look a little odd on television. They might have thought the other frats were wearing their stuff but the others did not. At any rate, he sound excited about the upcoming home games. So no need for either side to bash one another now. Beat Rutgers.

Yep! Problem. No expectations. Can I now get out the baby wipes, to wipe their soft baby asses for them? Got to wear my greek letters or I am not going to play? Give me a break. I was a greek at SMU, so don't tell me anything is different.
