Glad to have the publicity and nice to see the team's success bringing people, especially alumni, back into the SMU community.

It also reminds me of a friend that never attended a single game while he was SMU (Dement-Tubbs era), but then he went to grad school at Kansas and couldn't stop talking about how awesome it is to go to games and how fun basketball is and how much of a sports fan he is and how much school spirit KU has. I do agree that wins drive the bus but I can't help but wonder if students don't have a fun time at games 'because no one goes', thus continuing the problem.

I think that culture has changed with this incoming freshman class of students and will just take time to catch on with the entire student body

Get a few top 25 votes this week, beat USF and Moody will be rocking Saturday. Can't wait for the first top notch SMU game experience in BB in my lifetime.

I attended SMU games when I was a student. And until mrydel got me to games a few years argo, none since.

So very limited experience. I would say the Texas SMU game in 1979 would be the biggest until Memphis. I consider this one bigger than UConn cause the consequences of a win will be huge.
