I guess I shouldn't say gross... it's just a Dunston's level steak at a much higher price.
If I ran Bob's I would sue you for libel

I've never actually been to Dunston's. Is it something I should experience once?

Not an elite steak, but pretty good, and an institution in the area. If nothing else, it's worth trying just to experience it, but don't go in there expecting the best steak you ever had.
I recently discovered Chamberlain's. Maybe the best steak I ever had.

Although it's Mexican cuisine, the Filet Cantin Flas is great at Javier's

Yes, but you have to sit in the way back. It's like Loon drinks with Tom Thumb quality steaks and Peggy Sue's salad bar. I am a huge fan.

If you sit in the front you just don't know what you're doing. Also if you enter via the front door instead of by the bathrooms.

I guess I shouldn't say gross... it's just a Dunston's level steak at a much higher price. It's like Campisi's. I'm sure it was the best around when Dallas was a much smaller town, but nowadays why would anyone eat there?
Now that is blasphemy. I have had some NY Italians at Campisi's and there comment for the style of food it is very good. If you are wanting some of the more elaborate Italian dishes no, but how can you go wrong with Crab Claws, Joes Toast, side salad and your pick of lasagna, spaghetti and meatball or even the Italian steak. Of course you have to go to the one on Mockingbird, quality of the others seems to be a little lower.
GO Ponies!!!!
