25%that's the percentage of Rivals Texas 3+ stars that SMU got around to offering this year 38 out of 152. Interesting. No comment

Re: 25%16= Number of 3+ stars from DFW Metroplex (and I'm being very liberal in my definition of the Metroplex) that SMU offered
51= Number of total 3+ stars from DFW Metroplex 31%= The percentage of 3+ stars from DFW Metroplex that SMU offered Last edited by Stallion on Fri Jan 31, 2014 7:15 pm, edited 2 times in total.

Re: 25%These numbers are absolutely unacceptable in our own back yard. DO we have a shot at many 5 stars? Probably not, but if they are in our back yard, we should at least reach out and offer.
Nobody has really answered my question, and I'm sure there is probably an easy one in the NCAA rulebook that someone can quote me and call me an idiot over, but if we KNOW June doesn't like to recruit, why can't we hire a recruiting staff/coordinator/anyone to handle the recruiting needs of the team? It's not like June's needs are that difficult to explain in terms of personnel... Have the recruiting coordinator build the team and let June do what he's good at and coach the damn thing? Support the Commitment! We're all SMU Mustangs fans- we should all be committed!

Pretty sure you can give your coaches any title you want. Last edited by DanFreibergerForHeisman on Fri Jan 31, 2014 8:57 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: 25%Larry Brown offered 5* out of 6 4+ Stars in Dallas Metroplex in 2013
Larry Brown offered all 4 out 4 4+ Stars in Dallas Metroplex in 2014 * The lone Dallas Metroplex 4+ star not offered was Desoto's Matt Jones who committed to Duke half a year before Larry Brown was hired Last edited by Stallion on Fri Jan 31, 2014 9:24 pm, edited 2 times in total.

Re: 25%
Yeah, Picky, but... the Dallas Side of the Metroplex includes Arlington? Tarrant County's Arlington, the "Dallas Side"?
Re: 25%it was just a convenient geographical choice-I don't think SMU offered any 3+ star Arlington recruits-maybe Grand Prairie
