Killen always represented SMU well. Hustled both ways. Don't understand the negative comment about him above
Haha didn't read your post before I posted mine. That was one of my top 5 favorite games in college

I bought it a couple years ago at the Athletic Dept. garage sale.

It was an awesome game. No one gave us much of a chance. I remember a decent crowd in Moody but probably 30%-40% were UTEP fans. It was great to see the UTEP fans walk out with their heads down after that game

Thats great that Killen is on here and responded. Give him his damn jersey back Bighorse!
Hey Killen I used to coach against you when you played when you were younger and your dad was a coach and remember he kept the clocks for your games. I coached the Wolverines if you recall them with Scott Weaver, Aaron Griffin, Jamail Price etc....and my son Bryan was a walk on on your team at SMU. I have his jerseys too.

This is Jon Killen. A Couple things:
1. I'd love to have my jersey back! I have no idea which version you have because I could swear my parents had all my game uniforms buried in the family closet
2. On the off chance that this was available for merchandise, you must have been the last person in line after my teammates (Derrick & Hop) jerseys's were sold out. However, this definitely strengthens my chance to join any class action against the NCAA for profiting off my blood sweat and tears on the Moody Coliseum floor! I've been angling for a chance at a $12 check since 08
3. Again, I'd love to my jersey back. I am willing to play you in a game of HORSE. Should I lose, I have a few pairs of practice shots from the Jimmy Tubbs era that any true Mustang fan needs in their memorabilia collection.
4. @Ponyphi07 - it is perhaps worthless in a monetary sense...unless its the home game jersey from my Senior Night - because that has Derrick Rose's MVP blood on it! If the Memphis and Bulls fans knew about this, MAN!
5. While i'm here, I'll be happy to sign any copies of NCAA Basketball 2K5-2K8.

@Big Horse - On second thought. Don't sell! You can join the hoopster movement. The only way to one-up a guy wearing an obscure NBA jersey is to wear an even more obscure NCAA jersey. http://www.baconsports.com/lollapalooza ... s-5-types/@Scott - I remember those days, and also when Bryan walked-on for the 05-06 season. Bryan and Bamba were brothers from another mother @Harry - Thanks! did we ever get a chance to hang? I was at SMU until 2010 for the MBA program @Couch em - I'm in Dallas, working as in data research and analytics for an education group. I also have a future 4-star shooting guard sitting in my lap right now, Class of 2030.

This is an awesome thread. That is all.
PS we need more threads where we can catch up with former players.

I will split the cost with you, mrydel. The man deserves his jersey. Bighorse?

No fault of Big Horse's. He bought the jersey in a garage sale benefiting SMU.
Killen, assume you work with Stacey L. (finance) at your company. Good people.

I don't think anyone is faulting Bighorse, at least I hope not. But if Jon would like the jersey for his memorabilia, IMO he should have the opportunity to obtain it. Hopefully something can be worked out
