I'd been reading through the Richie Incognito text messages, so I guess sexual innuendo was on my mind. Back on topic, I'd love to see us play KU or Duke or UCLA at American Airlines next year, since they probably won't play us at Moody. But then again, maybe we don't want those big schools to have an excuse to come to Dallas and recruit Tyler Davis, King McClure, Elijah Thomas, etc.

I had brought this up with hoopmanx, who I respect for his knowledge of the business, about scheduling a regional rival like UT or Baylor (for me, it was just the chance to get back at them for football) and he suggested we've grown passed them and need to look more nationally. So better to try to schedule something with a Kentucky or maybe Kansas? I think Duke would be a great rivalry, personally. I can't stand them and we are similar in that we are private and smaller with good academic reputations. (we'd need to beat them).

I kind of agree with that assessment now that I think about it, actually. Texas doesn't want to ever schedule us or have anything to do with us in football, why give them a free trip to Dallas for basketball?
Duke, Florida, Georgetown, preseason NIT, UCLA, Oregon...take this thing national.

TCU down 2 at the half. I expect UT to open it up now. But you never know. Go frogs? (damn, now I feel all dirty inside).

we don't need a large alumni base for our opponent. there is no room for them in the building anyway.

It would be great to beat TX at home though with our students going nuts. I'd rather play them.

Reed or anybody else who might have gone... what was the significance of the deer (dressed in purple) in the frog band last night? They "activated" it on free throws.

I believe it has the same significance of the lobster and elf in our student section.

The avg SMU grad eats lobster often. The avg TCU grad eats venison.
