well, we can't replace the roster before next week, so I don't think our "problems" can be fixed. As we get late into the 3rd qtr, this is starting to look too much like the last several years where the offense can't stay on the field long enough to give the defense any rest. Obviously this SMU team can and hopefully will play better as the season goes on...but I wouldn't get my hopes up that we can compete with either TCU of A$M. This game with Baylor is very competitive, but looks like two lower tier Division I teams going at it.
