SMU agreed to the change.

American Athletic Conference bylaws state that as long as both teams and two of the three game officials are present at the game site, then the contest can be played. The only thing which could force a suspension would be a "superseding decision by state or local officials." With New Jersey under a state of emergency, declared by Gov. Chris Christie late Wednesday night before the storm hit, both teams consulted with the AAC and jointly decided to postpone the game.

Classes were cancelled on Thursday at Rutgers and all non-essential employees were told not to report for work.

This is the first Scarlet Knights game cancelled due to weather since Dec. 7, 2003 against Monmouth.

Too bad this is no longer on ESPN. Wonder if the crews and play by play staff could not do a Friday night game.

Does anyone know if they (American conference) traditionally archive these full games if you do not watch live?
