LB on The Herd (ESPN)Didn't see it posted anywhere. As always, a good listen, but with some different topics than normal, which was nice.
Said he got them up early and had them workout before the Temple game which was probably a mistake. Not entirely sure what he means, but that may have had something to do with it. Also talked about the one and done rule. He thinks it should be like baseball, if you're LeBron (which almost no one is), go pro right away, otherwise you go to college for a few years and get an education and grow up. I tend to agree. http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=10 ... api_public BOP - Providing insensitivity training for a politically correct world since 1989.
Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)
That would tend to explain why some thought they had a lack of energy. #HammerDown
Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)Practice? We talkin Practice?
Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)Cowherd is the worst.
"smupony94: Harry, you have been promoted to purveyor of official status capabilities."
Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)
If you enjoy everything preached and repeated to you 10 times then he's great. At least the espn TV commercials for him are funny. Beat the hell out of anybody!
Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)
^^^, Was painful to listen even with LB on. He seriously needs to get off the air.
Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)I love him - Colin offers strong insight and isn't afraid to ask tough questions or take a minority position on something ( For example, the Brode Miller interview)

Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)Ya I agree he can be a little annoying, but I think the fact that he doesn't take a minority opinion as sacklunch said and that he isn't afraid to challenge ESPN's agenda like all of the other talking heads makes him better than the rest.
To me, the most unbearable, wishy washy, vanilla garbage on radio is Mike & Mike... #GodFather #Tempo
Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)I know I'm in the minority, but I actually like his show. Call it a guilty pleasure. Or as my friends say, "So you're one of the [deleted] keeping him on the air?"
Agreed.
Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)I wonder what LB is referring to specifically with regards to the difference of Jank's game prep than his.
Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)I finally listened to the whole interview. I love his comments regarding "one-and-done" players and college basketball as a "minor league" for the NBA.
Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)
I'd imagine it was how they mange their game prep in today's day and age. Larry was used to preparing an NBA team for the last 20+ years, so I assume that Jank has some good insight on managing players now versus back when Larry roamed the sidelines at KU.friendly remainders and such. Completely spit balling though and I was also curious BOP - Providing insensitivity training for a politically correct world since 1989.
Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)
I think sacklunch was saying that he will take a minority opinion and go against the majority. #HammerDown
Re: LB on The Herd (ESPN)
My thought as well when I heard that. Pure speculation on my part.
