I think he's a lottery pick that will be light on production in college. He's not really an alpha kid, just highly skilled. I also don't like the idea of the glare SMU will get by having two top 5 kids, especially one that never listed us..
I'll start worrying when he shows up on campus in a gold Trans A(&)m.

I'm not an insider but I said it is highly unlikely he ends up at Kansas. Blackout pony explained why. Alexander is committed. And me saying it is highly unlikely came from people/friends much, much closer to the recruitment then me. I trust that info 100% fwiw. If you follow Eric Bossi at all on Rivals, he's one that I had a convo with personally about this if you want credibility behind it.

I heard from Myles' English teacher that in Myles' latest essay, there was a very peculiar pattern of capital S, M and U at the beginning of his sentences. The paper was also a patriotic short story about liberty and justice set on a horse farm in 1911.
Rumor has it that Myles would love to stay in Texas when he plays in the NBA. He doesn't like the spurs, but is a mavs and rockets fan. Their colors are red and blue, which can only mean one thing..... S.....M......UUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!

Gotcha....but does Alexander signing with KU automatically rule out Turner going there, especially if Embiid goes to the drafT?

I always enjoy watching them play. Very fundamental, well-coached, and not owned by Mark Cuban

That's exactly what was inferred to me behind the scenes. Now, Eric wrote a piece just this week saying that it may depend on Embiid. That's just analyst speak to cover his butt imo. A lot of recruiting analysts do that sort of thing, no different than a recruiting analyst writing a story for a kids top 5 even though they know that there are only 3 schools that have a shot. You have to report what you're told by the kid. So from everything I've heard from multiple people including him, I don't think it matters one iota what Embiid does and it doesn't really matter. Turner could announce any day and it could be before Kansas' season is even over. Kids are already signed. Alexander will be there regardless, they wouldn't have signed him to an LOI if there were any questions at this point.

And man will I look like a complete idiot if he ends up at Kansas somehow This was almost a month ago that I was told this stuff about his recruitment, things have obviously changed. Nearly everyone felt that SMU was completely out of it, I'm not sure I agree with that notion anymore, he made an unofficial and that's a step in the right direction even if it is a short hop for him. But going with what I was told at the time, 1) tOSU, 2) OSU, 3) Dark-horse in Texas (a ton riding on Barnes job security). Kansas and Duke were considered out of it and still are today. Also, this was pre-Okie State visit and they were the biggest perceived threat to land him if that visit did in fact happen. Now that the visit is pretty far in the rear-view mirror and he didn't commit, I'm thinking that they are still trailing others but I do think Texas is in much better shape and may be the ultimate favorite at this point.

Turner may very we'll not be going to KU, but considering Turner and CA will play different positions, I doubt it's because CA is signed. Wishful thinking at its best.
Pony up!
