Yeah - can I call you when I leave work? "smupony94: Harry, you have been promoted to purveyor of official status capabilities."
Re: Bracketology
Yeah missing the tourney is almost impossible at this point; I was simply curious. If the projections were based on the latter, the assumption would be that everyone expects us sputter in the final 2 games and the AAC tourney. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2

Re: Bracketologythat would be a terrible seeding to go against Gonzaga in the first then play kansas. we need to beat lousville to really help our seeding. we're not going to get the benefit of the doubt. not sure how texas and iowa would be seeded better given where we are today, but I'm sure this takes into account some black box fudge factor.
Re: BracketologyI say we start building up the Moody Madness Selection Party after we beat louisville
Re: Bracketology
Texas has better quality wins, less bad losses. Same with Iowa. A huge key in the whole puzzle is RPI and SOS. Both those teams fare extremely well in these metrics. I can't speak as intelligently for Texas as I haven't looked in a long time, but Iowa is among the tops in the country in both. On top of that, Iowa has lost games against very good teams by slim margins. I know you can say it doesn't matter because they lost, but the committee will remember them and take it into account. They're looking for teams that can beat the best when they seed, SMU's poor OOC really hurts both RPI and SOS. That Virginia game in hind-sight would've been absolutely massive. Or just not losing to two really bad teams in conference play. Harry- Yeah, after work is fine. Got some good news or at least something you might be interested in.
Re: Bracketologyi hope they remember that we could have beaten #5 virginia. very close game on a neutral court. just came up short. we can play with anyone.
Re: BracketologyWe had the ball in our hands with one possession to win the game against UVA but just couldn't quite get it done. That needs to be considered heavily. We went toe to toe with the ACC champs and almost got the win.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Re: BracketologyAmerican Athletic Conference
LOCKS: Louisville, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Memphis, SMU Louisville and Cincinnati enter the final week of the regular season tied atop the conference standings at 13-3. The Cardinals have the harder remaining schedule, as they visit SMU and host Connecticut. Cincinnati welcomes Memphis to town on Thursday, then has a quick turnaround at Rutgers on Saturday. All five of these teams have done enough to feel comfortable on Selection Sunday. Re: BracketologyBoth of those games would be rough. Oklahoma St has more talent than an 8/9 seed. But even winning that first game (no sure thing) would make some noise regionally in Big 12 country.
