You guys realize pitino is the reason temple got invited to the big east/aac right? Keep up this momentum in basketball and he will make a pitch to the acc to invite us. Chant stuff like that at him and we are stuck in g5 territory for eternity

i don't have anything to back this up but i don't think lb cares for pitino and lb likes just about every coach as far as i can tell.
the reason i think this is that when pitino was the coach of the celtics he treated red auberach like dirt and basically ran him off.
i read auerbach's bio several years ago and the author (finestein?) went into great detail over pitino's mistreatment of auerbach.
i don't know if red and lb were pretty tight but my guess is that they probably were.

Our student section used to go crazy every time the shot clock went to 15 seconds. That was a ton of fun.

I am all for giving every visitor as much grief as possible, but I think this is both stale and pretty slimy - so I think we only bring ourselves down by referencing it. if it was recent I would probably be more up for it. He is a dirt ball, but there are other ways to harass. He looks like Al Pacino to me - you ought to just bring horse heads or something, except we have the godfather so maybe that is confusing.

keep in mind ponyfans, it is not the smu fans/students that are slimy for starting a few laughable chants…It is Pitino that brought this upon himself….on multiple occasions. The guy loves to cheat on his wife in restaurants. That my friends is comedy.

I also love how Petrino is the football coach now. classic story. I laugh every time I see that press conference picture with him in a neck brace.
