I agree... Best student section I have ever seen in 30 years of attending SMU basketball games.

Hands down the best.

I put them against any group in the country.

Thanks for making this such an entertaining regular season. The team may be a huge story but the students embracing the team is a bigger one.

The students were great last night. They got under several Louisville players skin (and so too coaches and fans). And they were in the game the whole time. Always trying to pump the team up. A few breaks here and there and the place could have really exploded and the leaders would have been the students.

I sat next to the media guys with the decibel meter. It never got under 100 decibels unless we were shooting a free throw and it would dip to high 80s. It stayed closer to 110 range most of the time I saw it.

I have never been prouder to be a former student than I was last night. Watching those kids standing, screaming and cheering the entire time kept me on my feet last night. Hearing them sing Varsity was moving and they fought their way down court-side after the game to shake hands with the players and thank the seniors. They were true fans.
