Standup asks a simple question, and people hammer him.

You and others can continue to be sarcastic and have non basketball opinions. You can continue to attack posters instead of having a sports opinion. You are actually spending your time today being critical over a simple question about whether it makes sense to have a Recruiting Board. It was just a suggestion. Come on. Talk about a waste of time. Look in the mirror! Don't see much value in it.

From a basketball factual stand point, there is 0.00% chance that Markus Kennedy plays SF period. There's not even the slightest possibility, it will not happen. The fact that you think it is possible is the reason people aren't taking you at all serious. If you've watched 2 hours of basketball in your life, you would know why. If you've played 10 minutes of even junior high ball, you would also know why this will never happen.

The 3 has to handle the ball and be quick enough to guard the wing. Basketball is not just about height and weight so I don't know where you're getting this from. It'd be like you suggesting Russell Wilson move to slot receiver he's closer to the size of other slot receivers instead of 6'5, 230 like most quarterbacks. I don't understand what is so difficult to understand about this. Kennedy's skill-set is a 4 or even a 5 in the college game, in the NBA, it's the 4 or he won't be in the NBA. He DOES NOT have the skills to play the 3. Wiki the small forward spot if you need to understand the responsibilities of the 3 or buy the Complete Idiot's Guide to Basketball. And no, I'm not trying to come down [deleted] you, just telling you why people aren't taking you serious at your suggestions.

I think YM should run the point; what r ur thoughts on that?

I thought it was a fair question to ask, but I personally like having them separated.

Agreed, I didn't really understand jumping on him for the "recruiting" section. 99% of the pertinent SMU BBall recruiting seems to find it's way over to the basketball forum anyways, so the recruiting section from a bball standpoint does nothing for me. Hell, there's people putting recruits tweets in the SMU bball section. So I don't think it's that necessary either but I was trying to explain why people are disregarding what he says for better or worse.

Harry-sorry man, didn't want StandUp to lose 5k on that haha. If it makes you feel better, I'll send you a Happy Gilmore sized check for 5k?

Stop spreading rumors, Mrydel. There will be expectations.
