I would not count Houston as a bad loss. They are a good team and probably on the bubble right now if they hadn't had those injuries. They will be a handful next year too.

just read-think its right-that UH returns basically entire team after beating UCONN, Memphis and SMU. Add in CUSA Co-Champion and possible NCAA Tourney team Tulsa on 9 game winning streak and the middle of the AAC could be pretty strong

No, I wouldn't have, but the team has clearly gone backwards. Anyone that has watched Larry Brown's post game interviews over the last couple of weeks, has seen his concern and frustration with his players.

I don't know if it is so much the team playing worse but rather that other teams are just figuring out how to effectively play SMU in their game planning.
