I don't think we'll do well in the nit. The players must be so disappointed . Can't imagine their hearts will be in this. The nit is worthless.

I agree, you rarely tourney snubs (last 4 out) do well in the NIT. Most of them go one and done.

and yet it would seem that high quality wins would weigh more than weak losses. I mean, after all, every team you play in NCaa Tourney is supposedly quality.

IT is baffling how we got screwed. Sure does appear to be politics and not acomplishments.

Houston loss didn't cost us - we were out unless we made a run, those UConn and Memphis wins didn't mean much to committee. Actually seems we have been out for awhile according to chairmanship comments. Don't focus on Houston loss - look at AAC seeds, they thought our conference sucked, bottom line.

Ya think? Look at the composition. All the teams rewarded had at least one conference rep and often more.
Louisville a 4? Three teams in the same bracket. We had no say at that table.

But the bottom line is that we gave them a resume they could question. Losing to the bottom end of our conference killed us as did a weak OOC.
