We are going to lose 2 more this season if we play like this - at a minimum ECU and UTEP.

Patterson is used to running a top 25 program......JJ is not.

I am soooo damn tired of hearing this from June, the players and the fans. If it's on the schedule we need to win it. You don't hear Patterson saying that.

We are NOT a Top 25 team yet, but we can still win CUSA, play in the Liberty Bowl and beat a SEC team. That would be a heck of an accomplishment

This game ultimately meant nothing, we can take a commanding lead in C-USA West next week if we beat Houston. Losing to Navy didn't ruin our season last year and it shouldn't this year.

What is JJ's record against SEC teams?

You HAVE to win at least 2 of the Out of Conference games every year....3 is good and 4 is BCS quality...losing 3 out of Conference games is not good for the season, no matter what.
Good news about UTEP and UH, so we are soldily in the lead for the West...we have that going for us.

I don't think CUSA has won a Liberty Bowl game yet against the SEC. Odds are against it, but I'd like to be the 1st

not the end of the world.
from a dead program to a competitive one, where we expect to win every week. I'd say that's progress.
It'd be nice to have perfection, but not very realistic. the boys are growing every week. that's all you can ask for.
go ponies.

He should take pretty much all of the blame, this game should have never been close but his offense could capitalize after it got a 2 score lead. Not going for it on the plus side of the field on 4th and short twice in the 2nd half made no sense. What happened to the guy who didn't think about punting?

Yes, we are 3-0 in conference. Now the rest of the season we have to play 2 full halves every game. Great first half but no O in the second half. We didn't put pressure on the Navy O but all the weak 3rd quarter O series. That killed us.

Defense just could not stop Navy that much in the second half.

We're not at the point where these non-conf games mean all that much, I expected 1-3, hell most of us did.
