That can't be true can it? If that's the case, and you extrapolate the '98 "best non-bcs" class to '03, it seems we should have gone better than 0-12 in '03.

Except that most of those guys pobably didn't redshirt.

Would that be the same group of people who called him a traitor and despised him for leaving TCU for the Bama job? We are now to believe all that anger was because they thought he was a "loser"? You make it sound as if they were glad to see him go. TCU folks are just like the Bama folks...they have become obsessed in the hope Fran will fail...because they are all acting like the proverbial "woman scorned". It could definitely revive this rivalry...although my guess is that Patterson and Fran may be friends and would not fan the flames.
