TCU's receivers are having a great game. Badgers can't stay with them

Someone on the channelsurfing.net ESPN feed keeps yelling "He's gone!" on every TCU pass play. Need to get him away from the mic.

Worrying about how much their success hurts us does nothing to improve our lot - stop worrying and keep supporting your team.

Nobody is worrying and I for one am still supporting SMU, I'm just voicing my opinion. But we have to beat TCU in the next few years (they are in our way of getting to a BCS bowl). They are still on our schedule. I think you might be misinterpreting me a bit. But I can't root for TCU.

As distasteful as it may be, the Froggies are looking like the better team out there right now.

They effectively dispel the "small living alumni base" that so many of us like to cling to....there has to be at least 35,000 frogs there.
I honestly think if we played in the Rose Bowl, or any BCS bowl, we would take a bunch of people. everybody that has even thought about being an SMU fan would be there. I don't think they have 35,000 people there, but probably 20,000 or so.
Why the need to knock their attendance? The Rose Bowl holds 92,000 or so, and if you look at the aerial shots they have no less than 40% of the crowd. There is no way they have less than 30,000 out there, and they most likely have quite a few more.
TCU was smart enough NOT to call for a red-out!!!! THis way everyone can see that they have a good fan turn-out!!!!!!!

Much easier call on their part, really.

Indeed. Too bad they couldn't have mentioned his other coaching positions before Iowa...

Mitch McConnell wrote:86, I'm not arguing that. They've had about a 10-year start on us.

The important thing that we have to do is just continue to get better, win our league and dominate and then keep getting better as a program. That's all we can do.

On paper, we have a pretty good recruiting class coming and our last class == on paper == was fairly decent. If the plan is to get Fields to play LB, I like that. Speed is important.

I was more irritating by you proclaiming the two-year bowl run was over. Do you have the 2011 record handy? I don't have it. I have no idea how the CUSA games against Memphis, UH, Tulsa, UCF and So. Miss will go. How do we know we won't be able to stay on the field with those guys?

Go play the games and see what happens.

I hope you are right MM in saying that our 2 year bowl run will not be over. I will have no expectations next year I guess. But I just don't see it realistically. We'll see though. :D

Game's not over yet. Just one possession could change everything. And the Badgers have the ball.
