Come on. It is very difficult to take you seriously when you cite such inflated attendance numbers for the UTEP game. You sold out UTEP? 25k in the seats? You are delusional. I was there and it was barely 20k if that!

It was embarrassing. Who do you think you are kidding?

It doesn't help your cause in terms of getting support for future events if you are not realistic and honest about the results.

Your effort and enthusiasm is admirable, but SMU needs professionals to take the lead on this stuff. Too bad you seem to care more about how many people come to the games than Steve O and Brad Sutton. :(

Have we used the billboard money collected yet? If not use it now advertising the $40.33 ticket deal. That is really a good deal.

and to tell the truth there was virtually no change in tickets sold during the regular season last year-those numbers are inflated by the Armed Forces Bowl which wasn't a home game but a Bowl Game

That is the NCAA Statistics Department counting using digitally scanned ticket information. If you go the games, you would know that you are scanned in, and you can't be scanned in twice. Please try to understand what you are talking about before making wild [deleted] claims.

Start a new thread to hash out this argument - this one is for operation sell out. We need to focus on the task at hand --> People to UCF game.

I scanned my free faculty tickets since I couldn't find anybody to use them. What can I say? Economists know how to screw with the stats :)

nice. pony fans should buy all these up and make them go empty, thus forcing people to sit in the lower bowl.

And as the economics professor pointed out, have them scanned, so you count double for attendance purposes.
