I'm highly amused how some of you board regulars express surprise when a thread referencing the music martyrs grows to great length. It's the virtual equivalent of [deleted] too close to your campsite...you're going to draw a crowd pretty quickly. At least the headcase chick in the first page showed how holier than thou some are at band camp. Solution? Cherish your continued service to SMU but don't pretend like your Tibetian monks. Others have done as much or more, but don't act like an endangered species. And it actually has the exact opposite effect when encountering newer fans. Nobody likes martyrs, especially false ones.
