Seems to me like we need to get someone who is a good recruiter out of the great state of Texas, it’s a state full of great amounts of talent and we are completely wasting our location. We are in DALLAS probably the best city to live in, in Texas. Why do we not recruit heavily in Texas? Schools like UT have teams almost entirely comprised of Texas kids. We need a head coach with Texas connections. Or a least a big time recruiter. Keep Klemm just because of the great new recruiting classes we have coming up. if we can for a few years that’d be awesome. But honestly why do we care about him recruiting out of California? We are a Texas school. We need to get Texas recruits (they are the best in the country so I don’t understand why we want to leave the state to recruit). Being in Dallas is our biggest selling point, it’s a lot better than living in cities like WACO. Kids who play high school football in Texas dream of playing for schools like UT, Tech, A&M, Baylor. We can offer them the opportunity to play against them. The OOC schedule against the big 12 Texas schools is awesome and I think a great recruiting tool. (California kids could care less if they play against Texas schools, we are not using our best recruiting tool, location) If we lose June Jones (which would suck) We need to get someone who gets Texas players.

On a side note I wish we had horses that would run the Texas flag the SMU flag and the American flag. We are in the best city in the best state in the union take advantage of it.

I suppose they could dig up Woody Hayes or Bo Schembechler. Might have to give them a shower before they meet the team.
