Not excited with the Buzz P side of that equation. However, I wonder if all of the other 'better' candidates turned us down and were not interested in the asst. position.

Brown and Peterson worked together with the Charlotte Bobcats.

Hard to imagine a young up-and-coming asst. not wanting to learn from one of the best. What a great opportunity, especially with the potential of becoming head coach in a few years.

It may not be a young assist not wanting to learn from LB. It might be LB wanting to bring someone on who he doesn't have to play as big of a role. This scares me. LB might be thinking he can get back in the game but have Buzz do everything.

If this goes down the way that is sounds like then I sure hope they add a couple of good recruiters/assts. like R. Brown and Lutz.

From what I have read, it seems Brown wants to bring Peterson on to his staff. Not sure why...no mention as to his thinking on that.

Great, bring in LB and Buzz. Just don't name him HCIW. Although I imagine you have to name someone HCIW because it will be known that LB will only be here a few years.
