I'm past blaming this defense on the players. At some point coaching has to come into play. Do what you can with the players you have. Don't expect them to do things they can't. Malone can't understand this apparently.

A defensive back leaves his man in coverage. I do not think you can blame the coach for that

No, but if your players can't play a specific scheme, don't force them to. Let them play something they are capable of.

Although I'm not sure which scheme these guys would be ok with. They really aren't that talented.

Come on Junior. A cornerback is supposed to cover the flat on a rollout. Instead he rushes the QB. That is not a scheme problem, that is a bad play by the defender.
