too many blocks because of ill-advised/forced drives down the lane by several different SMU players last night. Saw more of that last night than I saw all last year. Our ball movement was not up to par but might have to credit TCU's defense for some of that

Yup. We always have said Ben has the handle for a big man to drive and create, but he was looking only for his own shot. JT was similarly not looking for some creative dishes like he normally would.
Separate note: think that was the first game Keith has ever won where he scored zero points? That's not to say he wasn't effective, he played great D and if nothing else he is a decoy of a threat on offense that has to be honored. But like Jank said in his interview before the game, if he isn't scoring he's still very valuable these days. That said, wish he hadn't tripped over his own feet after two great steals...
We lost 3 critical players who were central to our team - especially the defense last year, put up with the distractions of NCAA sanctions, replaced a hustling, high basketball IQ defensive minded team guy - Sterling -with a streaky offensive shooter, playing 2 freshmen high minutes, and our hall of fame coach is on an extended walk about. And you wonder why we aren't looking like world beaters? I am happy where we are and glad we are not facing Gonzaga anytime soon..........
