Do we know where the SMU block will be seated? Or are we just buying the multi-night ticket and finding out later.

As I recall there are no "sections" designated for the teams....I'm in section 107.skyscraper wrote:Do we know where the SMU block will be seated? Or are we just buying the multi-night ticket and finding out later.

Well, I randomly asked my wife if she'd have any interest in going. She said that she had no interest in the games, but would love to go to NYC.
Looks like I'll see you guys up there!

for what it's worth this information came in the mail about a pre game event and opportunity to buy $100 ticket for each night. Can we assume if you purchase through this site you will be sitting with other SMU fans?

Anybody who ordered through SMU got theirs?

Last year in Las Vegas, one of the assistant ADs handed out our tickets just outside the arena. Could this be the case again? I have no clue?

Just to weigh here guys, sorry I didn't see this until now.
SMU is receiving multiple blocks of tickets, all of which are in the lower level and what i believe most would consider "good seats". If you would like to purchase through SMU you must do so prior to 11/1, at which point out allocation is frozen and must be sent to the promoters in NYC. While I won't be able to give you the actual seat location/allocation as we do not have it, I can guarantee that you will be near other SMU fans.
We have not yet received the hard copy tickets but a member of the SMU staff will be on sight to distribute tickets the night of the first game, same process as last year in Las Vegas.
For those of you who purchased elsewhere the pre-game event is open to all Mustang Fans, you do not have to have a ticket through SMU and if you were in NYC for the NIT you know what a great time it was, can't wait to see many of you there!

For you procrastinators: I just noticed a super deal at the The Court: A St Giles Hotel.
$592 for 3 nights: in Wed out Saturday morning: $592
Get it through booking.com...maybe there is a better price on another site but I doubt it.
It's rated 4 star but I'd give it 3.5 It an old building but the rooms are fairly recently redone and good sized for NYC. I've stayed there. I've stayed in many hipper/newer joints but this will do. A very good rate for this particular week in NYC. Rates have been way up recently...we wanted to Hotel Tonight this past Tuesday night and rooms that we usually knock down for $200 were $400-500. This is a sweet deal.
It's on East 39th/Lex about a ten minute walk across town to the Garden.
