Maybe it’s time the conference drops the P6 stuff and embrace the ΓÇ£mid-majorΓÇ¥ label.

Nevada from MWC & Loyola Chicago from MVC have beaten 4 ΓÇ£bigΓÇ¥ conference schools and one will be in Elite 8. Nevada did so playing 6 guys (and 5 for most of the game) similar to our rotation last season.

Especially in basketball... we might be the 8th best conference.

To be fair the A10 (2-3) nor the P12 (0-3) performed any better than we did.

True the Pac 10 was definitely more embarrassing this season for sure.

With the millions and millions of dollars SMU has spent on the Crum Center and the renovation of the new Moody, I would be thrilled if we can win one stinking game in the tournament.

Someday

The real irony's gonna be when it's a decade from now after we've returned to form and sneak in w/ an upset as a #13 seed...

I mean, I'll still be ecstatic, but damn.

That graphic actually makes the rest of their statistics/projections much less trustworthy... who the hell thought that was a good idea?
