I thought it was Improbable to duplicate the second half same as the first, And that's all I have to say about that.

The thing that jumps out at you is that, after last night, there are no significant winning and/or losing streaks for anyone. Bottom line is that there is enough parity of talent in this league that it's just really tough to win on the road and that doesn't bode well for how this SMU team will finish.

Yes; at least we were able to avoid being upset by any of the lower level AAC teams in Moody.

Sure wish it didn't but last night's loss killed any hope of winning the regular season title outright, Our guys now have to win out to have any chance of even sneaking in the back door and possibly grabbing a share of the regular season title, but I don't think Houston will fold at this point.

Time to start hoping for a top 4 finish and that probably comes down to what happens in our next 3 games. We obviously aren't a very good road team but we did beat Memphis so can they pull one out at Tulsa? Assuming everyone in the AAC struggles on the road, Tulsa is in the best shape to finish strong as they have 3 home and 2 road games left.

SMU and Wichita State both have 5 losses and WSU has 3 home and 3 road games but those road games are really tough with trips to Cincy, SMU and Memphis. Memphis probably has the toughest schedule with 2 home and 3 road games, especially with home games against Houston and Wichita State. Should be an exciting finish to the regular season in a year where everyone seems to be beating everyone.

The offense sucked.

But you can't allow that many points to a horrible offense of Tulane.

Sometimes offense doesn't travel. You need defense on the road.

The defense of the team has been a letdown and has cost us the opportunity to compete for a conference championship.

The conference might be down to 1 bid with both Cincy and SMU suffering Tier 3 losses tonight.

Great point - and this is the one thing about this team that has been most disappointing to me.

I really thought as the year went along and we had more five-on-five practice our defense would markedly improve - but other than a few occasional flashes it actually might have regressed.

The coaches keep saying they want consistency.
