Well one side offers facts and data and the other """feels""" different in spite of being provided facts and data. There's your problem. People "feel" like they want to help perpetuate year 3 of a pandemic and I'll politely disagree. It would be neat of folks who decided not to vaccinate due to faulty logic wouldn't impact someone else but that's not the way the cookie crumbles.

I got my vaccination as soon as I was able. It allowed me to keep my sense of humor.

Fauci jabs are inherently loaded and political. But feel free to keep trying at that humor thing.

Get over yourself. We have every right to criticize an unelected authoritarian who may very well have used your money and mine to fund the research which led to this novel coronavirus.

I don't follow the NFL much but wondered why this particular former pony was getting so much attention in this thread. Alas.

Bless your heart. Eff your politics ("unelected authoritarian," lol) and your repeated insistence on proclaiming them on this sports page.

Dont mind me while I laugh at you complaining about "repeated insistence on proclaiming them (politics) on this sports page." while you continue to do exactly that.

8 pages of BS virtue signaling on a football page has to be some kind of record. Can we get back to football yet? College football starts in 60 days, and SMU football in 66 days, 17 hours and 24 minutes.

I've been vaccinated at the recommendation of my doctor due to a significant medical condition, but I understand those who do not wish to do so. According to the CDC "During this time, VAERS received 5,479 reports of death (0.0017%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine." To put that in context the number of deaths from the flu shot are 183 per year. 7 people have died from the Shingrex vaccine. And it is still possibly more problematic for teens with non lethal, but severe side effects. For young people, COVID-19 is apparently not very lethal. So, the choice for them is more nuanced. Yes, the risk is low, but for many the risk of dying from the disease is low as well. Pick your poison.

Even amongst the young, the risk of dying or getting significant illness from the vaccine is much lower than with the virus itself. Two very different poisons.

"Don't get political"

"Don't trust unelected people who are experts in their field"

Pretty much explains where we are at.

Now that is funny, regardless of where your opinion falls! I hope Cole is enjoying all the attention he has inflicted on himself.

Actually, I agree with your underlying point. And I have never, ever, ever introduced a political topic on this board. I have told those who do, plenty of times, to please try to stick to sports.
