REwatching this morning and noticed before MWeathers amazing play and slam with a minute left he spoke to KD when they were coming down the court. Did he call the play?

If that is what he said, I have no problem with it and it really isn't any more motivation for Tulane. Tulane is motivated to win this game as they would either finish the season with a winning or losing record. I'd say that is more than enough motivation. Our guys can say they will do whatever to protect home court and that is to be expected. It is senior day and while Tulane cannot be taken lightly, it is at Moody and SMU is clearly the superior team. I'd be much more concerned if our team did not fully expect to win the game. That said, they cannot take any team lightly and need to come out with a fire under their bellies.

I have no doubt that our players think they will win on Sunday. But there is no need to broadcast that to the media. Tulane is very capable of coming in and taking the game if SMU plays like they they did in the first half in New Orleans. Remember that they were down by 5 at the half in that one.

Tulane has beaten Memphis, Cincy, Temple, and Wichita (2x) and will be playing the game with a first round bye on the line. I also expect that they will have a good contingent of fans at Moody as they have a good alumni base in Dallas.

"also expect that [Tulane] will have a good contingent of fans at Moody as they have a good alumni base in Dallas." Probably about like the Cinci fans which wasn't much. Tulane fans seem only a bit better than Rice fans.

Congratulations on the great comeback, ponies!! Y'all certainly know how to make a game exciting, albeit stressful. Bring it home against Tulane.
