We are thankful that we have a BYE after a win like that. Time to enjoy the win, but then its take to go back to work. Conference games matter more than a rivalry win against TCU.

The bye week couldn't come at a better time for SMU. If they had to play UCF next week, I don't think it would be pretty. Skillet coming back to Big D. HAHA

Perfect time for the bye week. The 25 year mess is getting further behind us.

True. I expected TCU to put up a furious fight that quarter so some points should be expected, but 23 is tough to withstand in almost any game.

A few more wins and we will be ranked. One game at a time. SMU-UH game could be a huge one with both teams ranked, but UCF is next and they are a very talented team with a great QB.

Yeah we wont be ranked after that. Maybe if TCU were ranked in the top 10 like last year. Either way though, great game, terrible 4th. Here's to a well deserved bye week, and then hopefully revenge against UCF.

JJ's play calling and the total lack of any changes in the defensive strategy in the 4th quarter drove me nuts. 3 times in the last 10 minutes we went 3 passes and out. Defense used 3 man rush 95% of the time when the key was pressure on the QB. How can you give up 23 points in the 4th quarter and not make any defensive adjustments?????

He is 4-0 with a win over top-25 as a starter. He stays.
