Big 10 (likely Purdue) should be in Ticket City Bowl but opponent could be Southern Miss or Iowa St or SMU or Houston

ISU may bring a few more fans than Purdue, but the difference between the two shouldn't be huge.

If your statement is true, then that's a sad state of affairs on SMU's fan support.

SMU_Alumni11 wrote:Apparently because of the injuries that football causes forces NCAA to maintain 12-15 games. Personally I would rather them start early august and push everything to Feb. I know student athletes wouldnt be fond having to play 1 and 1/4 semesters, but it sure would be awesome to have so much football.

I think anything that pushes into the Spring semester will likely introduce new eligibility problems for a lot of teams, since fall grades could prevent players from being eligible for playoffs/bowls.

From TicketCity Bowl email. Don't see our name on there.

Will it be...
Purdue?
Penn State?
Houston?
Southern Miss?
Iowa State?
We don't know yet!

These five teams are some of the leading candidates that may play in the second annual TicketCity Bowl. This weekends games (both championship and regular season) have a large impact on who will be playing in our game. A variety of different scenarios are still possible. And it's not just the TicketCity Bowl that doesn't know yet. All across the country, bowl personnel will be sitting on the edge of their seats awaiting the outcome of this weekend's games.

However, we will definitely know our teams by Sunday evening. Be sure to check your email over the weekend (or visit our website) for our Team Announcement!

Pretty sure regardless of who wins, we are going to AFB or TCB. Since Hawaii wont be going, they will cancel the bowl. Attendance will be as usual, and its just too costly to take teams over there for such little revenue.

There's a completely plausible scenario

Not this time. Going to maui in Feb I'd have a hard time justifying (to everyone but myself)
