haha I can tell. why do people hate the big horses? being a new SMU fan, so cut me some slack (never watched them till I came to school here, but love college football) I'd assume they used to not have them right? and you guys dont like them because they are not actually mustangs or what?

We already have a mascot, he has been around for a long time.
June wanted imposing mascots so he got castrated horses from t Boone Pickens, who then went and lobbied for tcu to be in big 12 and for us to take good care of his wife's gelding..

While I think naming AK HC isn't the worst idea around, the "Assistant Head Coach - Offensive Line Coach" would be the perfect position for AK, so long as it would be enough of a promotion to keep him around.
