Re: Buzz Williams?
We'd kill for Hewitt's career W/L success, bench gaffs notwithstanding. Plus, he can simply flat out recruit. I have a feeling the local scene would embrace Hewitt as well.

Wow, first I've heard of it. Frankly, I'd be happy if that were the truth, cause Hewitt despite being a wicked recruiter, is the black Doh on the bench

He's a recruiting, coaching, winning machine ... except for the coaching and winning.

Re: Buzz Williams?
hoop- any chance of us getting Amaker? Is his wife still a prof at Harvard and would that be a problem?
Re: Buzz Williams?
I'm sure we could offer her a position.

Re: Buzz Williams?
well, we'd need UT-Southwestern to help us out if we want to find a congruent position for her, which is currently:
Harvard title(s): Instructor in Psychology, Harvard Medical School, Department of Psychiatry
Harvard title(s): Instructor in Psychology, Harvard Medical School, Department of Psychiatry
I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I'm not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.

he's targeted and if we strike out once or twice, we'll make a run. That said, you are correct, his wife will be a real prob.

Florida 68 Marquette 58

Marquette coach Buzz Williams saw his second straight team into the Sweet 16, but that's the ceiling yet again. The Golden Eagles will go back to the drawing board in 2012-13 without their two senior stars. Meanwhile, the Gators progress to the Elite Eight, where they will meet No. 4-seeded Louisville, which got there by posting the tournament's best defensive performance to date.

So why hasn't there been anything on ESPN? Is it b/c there is no substance to the rumor? Or b/c ESPN hates the Big East?

It's because we're SMU and they only care if we score 28 points.
