Thank you PF! Some of us appreciate this service.

Umm another site has been created effectively gutting PF from it's most most productive posters. Instead of reconciling the difference this site has decided to double down on it's enforcement policy. This is all well and good, but as already evidenced the posts in the forum I can already see existing threads stagnating and very few new threads.

I still like both sites, but I can freely express myself in one and not the other. Over time I'll visiting one site over the other. It's not a tough choice really.

i find the other site to be unorganized, under-utilized and pretty much a waste of time. i dont think anything that needs to be on a board cant be posted here - so i guess i just dont see the need for two -it takes away from an already small following. thats my two cents.

Most good forums start out as trash and eventually become better when the folks who post put more effort into it. This is what will happen.

A good example of this is Shaggybevo. It started out under similar circumstances and now has become a kickass website and I'm not even a Texas fan.

i believe they both serve a purpose. but they are not necessarily geared towards the exact same crowd.

they are both SMU fan sites, yes, but they are not the same.

i enjoy both of them. i probably post more over here, but read them both just as much.

I won't post over at that lameass site anymore, but somebody answer this idiot as follows:

"Hopefully that you don't try to steer recruits to your next job while you are still the coach at SMU." Attrribute it to me in abstentia if you want.

And tell them to spare us the old "no evidence of that" [deleted], it was documented on that very board in the form of a tweet from the (decomitted) player involved. Although it's probably deleted now, everything else seems to be.

If A few mean (if truthful) posts are enough to have a prspective player commit elsewhere, then they have no business playing D-1 football. You think Aggie recruits bail if they see a few unsavory posts on TexAgs?

that was the funniest thing i've ever read. who tears down their own fence just to prove that they're smarter than the other guy? pure aggie greatness. the best part was when they had a group of guys over to hang out and talk about it. and then took pictures of their silly selves and posted them online. great stuff!
