I can say with total confidence that is NOT the case.

We are getting a new coach. Save this.

In 2015..................

No - please do not jump to conclusions FTHP. Geez.

What I said was that we did not put out feelers nor did we get any sort of rejections. Many coaches are very interested in the SMU job should it open. That is what I meant.

A sh*t ton of coaches were interested in 2008. That's a fact. That didn't change after 4 bowl games, improvement to facilities, and a better TV deal.

Word on the blvd in Sept. was that the offer was made at the beginning of Summer and that he gave no response and just let it sit there. His agent might be floating this to put pressure on SMU since he is having tough time time finding another job.

If this is true, our administration is absurd. The recruiting class is already hurt because there were no extentons in place. Why would you recreate the problem for the next two years?

I don't think the recruiting class was hurt due to not having an extension in place. I think we would have gotten the same players either way imo.

I know what the total scope of things are but you definitely would not want to combine the two.

If this goes down I'm done with football. June isn't the answer in reaching the next tier.

I've been coming back to this forum 10 times today hoping someone announces this is a cruel joke.
we have no hope for improvement in football.
