I hope Ben got some rest. A mouthful of stitches can't feel good this morning.

Charleston Pony wrote:obviously our best half of basketball so far this year. Guys have 19 FG on 15 assists. Love the chemistry they are developing. Also plus 5 on the boards and holding Stanford to 20% shooting. Stanford has not had a lot of open looks. Even Gu is on tonight (except for those missed FTs). Hope the guys can keep it up in 2nd half so minutes can be spread around to "rest up" for another game tomorrow night. Would love to see 6 guys in double figures tonight
What an amazing first half. My Stanford guest was just shaking his head. I did get concerned when we quit driving to the bucket, and the 3's stopped dropping end of the half. That continued in the second half, and I kept worrying that if they got it below 20 they might make a run at us.

Seemed like they were clogging the middle from then on, not letting us drive and dish off. Ben Moore kept getting open on the pic and roll, but we quit feeding him. Hit some shots to stop several of their runs, but Stanford definitely ramped up their defense and energy in the second half.

My guest had enough by the 10 minute mark, so I heard about both teams going cold for the 5 minute stretch in the second. Then got home and had to listed to the announcers talking about other teams and conferences ad nauseum, while not mentioning the game in progress. Can't you keep those comments to the fouls and downtimes ?

There were 6,000 people there, and the atmosphere was good. Great win Ponies !

glad your guest got to see Stanford and experience the new Moody. I know the pain of watching your team get drubbed...too many times I've traveled to watch SMU football on the road and games were over early!

This game felt a lot like the flip side of the Michigan game, especially the first half. Everything was dropping for us.

It looks to be close to equidistant from Boston, New York, and Montreal.

Anyone selling tickets for tonight's game?

I checked vivid and they are super cheap ($5 blue to ~$30 for red). However, I have a tough timer swallowing the $11/ticket fees...
