I thought Fisher was headed to aTm.

Fisher has an easier road to the CFP through the ACC than going through the SEC West, the SEC playoff, and then hoping that "something" doesn't derail the invite.
Would he come to CS ? It is up in the air at FSU, and some 'Nole boosters are a bit peeved that he keeps getting mentioned at every opening in the SEC West...without unequivocally saying that he is staying put in Tallahassee.
Chad is A&M's fall-back candidate. I think he could still be in play at Arkansas, too. Things are moving at worp-speed as schools position themselves quickly.

Congratulations, Mustangs fans, we can now safely say that SMU is more committed to winning in football than at least 1 SEC program.
That's not nice for an Ole Miss fan to talk about LSU that way

hope he doesn't leave around 15th of dec. and take all the recruits with him. that could make for another 'rebuilding year' of which many of us have grown very tired of.

I think Ole Miss just wants Luke in their to hold serve until the sanctions are over in a couple of years then they go for Morris since it looks like he will be stuck here for a couple of years.

We would have lost almost every recruit last year if he went to Baylor because most of their class had decommitted and he would have moved late and needed a signing class. If he goes to A&M he will be going after a higher level recruit than most at SMU and although I have not looked I assume A&M has some commitments already that he could keep and build on. Not nearly the same as the Baylor situation.

while I agree with you I also think there is the possibility that some commits might leave to a different school because of losing hccm.

Sure but that could happen if he stays also if they get offers they prefer. The early signing period is 2 days. After that you have until February to recruit. As long as things are settled soon we will be ok.

Agree with this - he would have taken half the class with him to Baylor. If he goes to A & M or a comparable school - he'll cherry pick the recruits he wants and leave the rest for us. He probably wouldn't take more than a handful, but it would be all of our best recruits we'd really like to keep.

We are chasing 2 and 3 stars. At A&M he needs to chase 4 and 5.

Good point. When heft UH, Art Briles took RG III with him to Baylor. Hopefully there is an RG III type in this class....that stays.

RG III was a 4 star. I don't think we have anyone comparable committed.

Rice just fired David Bailiff. Now we really have to worry. First aTm and now Rice.
