Wouldn't rate Cashmere Keith as obscure. He's been collecting paychecks on tour for 10 years, is good buds with Harry, and missed a putt on the 72nd last week to finish one back of the Hossler and Yu. Not a surprise he was tipped as the betting favorite in a JV event. He's one of the UGA guys on the Tour and needs a win to get into the Masters. Mac is off to a solid start in R1.

Didn't exactly call him "obscure" but with only one win on his resume, he's not usually the betting favorite to win an event. It was more of a comment re: strength of the field in this event...the kind of event one of our guys could get hot and win. Yes...nice start for Mac who has been playing well and Austin having an up and down round but could still post a strong opening round. All of our guys appear to be starting well this week

Would love to see Mac break through and get that first win on tour. Seems like a great guy.

Mac will be the only Mustang making the cut this week but it looks like he will start at least 7 shots back tomorrow as he is currently at 6 under.

After double bogey on his 1st hole today and falling to 3 over thru 5 holes, Mac claws his way back to a one under round but is 10 shots back and will need a strong round tomorrow to finish anywhere near the top 25 in this event

Mac's 5 under final round has him positioned for a possible Top 25 finish. With a dozen golfers still on the course he's currently T-21st. Meanwhile, the betting favorite Keith Mitchell failed to make the cut this week. Such is life on the PGA Tour!

Mac Meissner is competing at the Zozo Championship in Japan this week. His one under opening round has him T-35th and 6 shots back

Mac with another one under round and is T-42nd, 10 shots off the lead in this field of 77 golfers

Mac's 3rd round 3 under puts him at minus 5 for the week and T-29th just one shot off a top 25 finish.

Final round 3 under takes Mac to a T-27th finish which is good for $57.035 making the trip to Japan worthwhile

Kelly Kraft at 9 under and Harry Higgs at 5 under both made the cut at the Worldwide Technology event in Cabo San Lucas. Austin Smotherman also played but missed the cut

Austin at plus one and Kelly at plus 3 are playing the Butterfield event in Bermuda this week. Leaders at minus 6 and Top 71 players are at even or better so our guys have to go low today to make the cut and earn a check this week

Austin fires a 4 under 2nd round to make the cut and will start 9 shots back on Saturday. Kelly's minus 2 2nd round was not enough to get him under the cut line
