When I was up in Dallas for the SFA game, I didn't make it over to sample the new First & 10. Looking forward to that Friday ... and quite possibly Saturday - especially if we win.

Worst thing about Saturday game days:

Big 10 (YAWN) football on ESPN and ESPN2.

Best thing about today - runner-up:

Point burger at 1st & 10.

Best thing about today - winner:

BEATING TULSA!

Just ate "Smash Burger" on Beltline in Addison.

It isn't a top burger, but it had a little unique taste that made it worth going to. Might hit it again sometime. Disclaimer: I got it to go, so it cooled a little on the way home.

Got chili fries with it..... about Jakes level with a few extra toppings.

Also, I couldn't place the face until I left, but I'm pretty sure I saw Bus there.

Was that you, Bus?

Doesn't matter. I realize it's an institution around here, but joins Snuffers as the most overrated burger in Dallas.

I agree. I'd still like to know which Burger House is closing, though.

Say no more. If it's in Austin, it deserved to die.

Took in SmashBurger on Saturday. Pretty darn good.

A couple of blocks West of the Tollway on Beltline.

For the record, turkey burgers are not real burgers - even today.

Happy Thanksgiving, PonyFans.

The wife and I went to Maple & Motor yesterday. Overall we both though it was very good. Burger was well done - not sure if they serve all burgers that way, or it was just the way my burger was cooked - they did not ask how I wanted it cooked.

The patty had a nice char on the outside, just enough so it did not have a burnt taste. Bun was very good - nice buttery taste to it. Onion rings were tasty along with the tater tots.
