Considering we do not have a ball control offense (TCU had much longer possession than we), and the 4th quarter aside, I think if our defense can improve in hurry up situations it is as good as anything I have seen in CUSA. That might put us at the front of the pack.

UH's no-huddle will still be a nightmare to deal with. They run it as well as anyone and they won't wait until the late 3rd to start using it.

We won on the road against a superior team. Hell of an accomplishment. Perfect? No. But satisfying, certainly. Great win and better than the 2005 win in my book.

The team's primary goal is to win C-USA and this wasn't a C-USA game. With 6 conference games to go no reason to get all excited over a non-conf win even if it is over a rival on the road.

I understand the reason to downplay it but no reason to get excited? Probably the biggest victory for this program since before the Death Penalty is more than enough reason to get excited....even if just for a day.
