not as far out as some predictions around here. SMU may be humming along very nicely in 2011. TCU, on the other hand, will be in a serious rebuild, barring a weird explosion of injuries in 2010...

How many Red River Shootouts between UT & OU would have been cancelled over the years (especially in the 60s/70s) if that were the case?

Texas and A&M cancelled their series for a time before WWI due to bad blood. Baylor and A&M knocked it off for awhile after the Aggies tried to retaliate for the beating of a corps member by hauling a cannon to Waco.

A&M is kinda that way.

had a H.S. game cancelled here in SC due to fear of "gang" activity. Not aware of any college game being cancelled but not uncommon for series to be cancelled after ugly events. ECU/NCSU comes to mind.

Hey Rayburn, didn't that logo with the reared-up horse & the diamond letters come out in the 50's or early 60's? Perhaps earlier?

Truly a classic!

2012 looks like it will be a struggle. Lumberjacks won't play down to your level this time.

Claiming to be a lumberjack I would think you would have a better sense of direction.
